Inspection, Needed Items, and how do I start pulling credit reports?

What is Needed to Get Setup with an Account to do Soft Credit Checks?

You will need to complete an inspection at your business office:

  1. Home Offices: Your business can be located in a home office. A bedroom with a locking door is preferred (rather than in an open space such as the kitchen or living room). You need a desk, a locking filing cabinet, and a paper shredder.
  2. We work/ co-working stations: This is often sufficient, but you need a locking door that separates your business from all other companies. 
  3. Offices Shared with Another Business: Offices can be shared with other businesses, as long as there is "physical separation". This means you are required to have a locking door that separates the two businesses.  Its okay if you share the same suite number and the same address, but you will need signage at the door or window as you enter the office (plaque or nice laminated logo). The companies would also need separate wifi networks.
  4. Are virtual inspections acceptable? Yes, this is often preferred by all parties.
  5. Items you will need in your office: Desk, chair, paper shredder, locking filing cabinet, passwords on your computer, secure wifi network, antivirus/anti-malware on your computer. If it is a commercial office, then you should have "permanent" signage. (Many businesses will place a plaque or nice laminated logo on the door/window as you enter the office)

Our Onboarding Team Will Request a list of Needed Items/Documents:

  1. Something from the Secretary of State. Articles of Organization/Incorporation, Certificate of Filing, etc. 
  2. An active and working website
  3. Register your business in the Yellow Pages with a free business listing. Call 844-339-7991
  4. Copy of a lease agreement (unless your office space is owned or you work out of a residence)
  5. Copy of a phone bill (if you do not have a phone bill, a utility bill is fine) (Address must match the exact location where the inspection is being completed, and it needs to be in the company name)
  6. If your industry requires a license, then we need a copy of that document
  7. If you are a broker, we may need a copy of an agreement you have with a lender.
  8. If you are a lender, we may need a copy of a funding agreement you have recently completed
